Circuit Racing Season Opens in Izmir

An adrenaline-filled weekend awaits at the Izmir Park circuit, which will host the 2016 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship. In the first fight of the season, teams and drivers will battle fiercely to put their first points of the year on the board.
The season opener, which will see Ülkü Motorsport, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport and Gedik Ebam Racing Team take part, begins on Saturday 9 April with administrative and technical checks from 09:00, followed by official practice and qualifying.
The opening round will be completed on Sunday 10 April, with the first races for the Super Group at 10:45 and the Maxi Group at 11:45, followed by the second races for the Super Group at 13:45 and the Maxi Group at 14:45.
