A Colourful Weekend at the Circuit

Round three of the 2015 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship was organised by Ülkü Motorsporları Kulübü at the İzmir Park circuit on Sunday 8 November, with 11 competitors taking part.

The Super and Maxi groups each ran two races. In the first Maxi Group race, Ümit Ülkü took the win in a Porsche 997 GT3, with Ahmet Mutlubaş second and Galip Atar third in similar cars. In the second Maxi Group race, leader Ümit Ülkü once again made it to the top step of the podium, with Ahmet Mutlubaş second and Ali Özerinç third.

In the Super group, the competitors also fought hard for big points. Ülkü Motorsport driver Ümit Ülkü won both 20-lap races in a BMW320 TC, while team-mate Galip Atar, racing a similar car, finished the day with one second place and one third. Ahmet Mutlubaş took a second place in a Honda Civic Type-R FN2, and İsmet Toktaş completed the day with a third place in a Honda Civic Type-R EP3.

Round four of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship, together with round four of the TOSFED Circuit Cup, will be held at the İzmir Park circuit on 21-22 November…
