Circuit Racing Action Returns at Ülkü Park

The AVIS 2022 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship continued on 24-25 September with round three, organised by Ülkü Motorsporları Kulübü at Izmir's Ülkü Park. In the event, backed by title sponsor ICRYPEX, 22 drivers competed – 12 in the Super class and 10 in the Maxi class. In the Super class, Ülkü Motorsport's Ümit Ülkü took victory in both races. In the first, Liqui Moly H2K Racing Team's Andrea Furci finished second and Ülkü Motorsport's Fatih Göçer third, while in the second race Göçer took second and Liqui Moly H2K Racing Team's Ömer Şamlı completed the podium. In the Maxi class, Bitci Racing's Turgut Konukoğlu ended the weekend with a double win. In the first race, Ülkü Motorsport's Ümit Ülkü was second and Bitci Racing's Barkın Pınar third. In the second race on Sunday, Bitci Racing's young karting-bred driver Zekai Özen took second and Temel Çamlıdağ third. Ülkü Motorsport won the teams' classification.The AVIS 2022 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship will continue with round four, to be held at the TOSFED Körfez Racing Circuit on 22-23 October.
