Off-road Spirit Comes to Düzce This Time

The excitement picks up where it left off in trial, the discipline in which mutual help and the off-road spirit take centre stage and teams made up of two vehicles and four competitors battle to complete the course in the shortest possible time... Round 2 of the 2015 Turkish Trial Championship will take place on 18-19 April on the course in the village of Selamlar, in the Gümüşova district of Düzce, organised by the Düzce Motorsport and Off-road Club (DOSOD).

The first day of the event, starting at 11:00 on Saturday 18 April, will finish at 16:00 after a fierce fight. The second day, starting at 10:30 on the morning of Sunday 19 April, will also end at 16:00, with the prize-giving ceremony to follow after 18:30.

Clerk of the Course Zafer Altınışık said: "Our club DOSOD, which achieved many successes during the 2014 season, has been rewarded by bringing a National Off-road race and a Trial Championship round to Düzce, with its unique green surroundings. We plan to bring this event, which I am directing, to a close with an organisation worthy of its name. In the spirit of perfect friendship, I wish our guests arriving at our camping area an enjoyable race, along with the hospitality of Düzce and under our slogan 'DOSOD Is Friendship'."

İsmail Tevekkel, one of the managers of the Düzce Motorsport and Off-road Club, conveyed this message: "I congratulate the clubs and competitors who are devoted to this sport and are taking great steps towards developing off-road and making this discipline the centre of motorsport in Turkey. I believe this event, organised by our club, will make a name for itself as the national race with the widest participation. Everyone who wants to have an enjoyable time, experience this excitement up close, and who loves nature and off-road is invited."
