Turgut and Yılmaz Crowned Baja Champions
Baja Denizli, organised by the Denizli Nature Sports and 4×4 Off-road Sports Club (DENDOFF) with the support of Merkezefendi Municipality and Spor Toto, concluded with 16 vehicles and 32 competitors taking part.
The event, which was the final round of the 2026 Turkish Baja Championship, provided two days of thrilling action in Denizli's Merkezefendi district.
After a 343-kilometre battle across the Hierapolis, Laodikeia and Merkezefendi Municipality stages, Abdullah Turgut-Arda Şenay won the SSV class, while Ali Kutay-Ebru Demirbay took victory in the car class. The event, in which GE Rally Raid Team won the teams' classification, concluded with a prize-giving ceremony at the Merkezefendi Municipality Cultural Centre.
Following the season finale, Abdullah Turgut in the SSV category and Mehmet Yılmaz in the car category have mathematically secured their championship titles.
