İlker Yiğit to Compete in Two Series

Recep İlker Yiğit, a 21-year-old driver of Turkish origin who lives in Belgium, will contest the BNL European Cup and Belgian Max Challenge series this season on a Turkish licence.

In the opening round of the Belgian Max Challenge (BMC), held in wet conditions on 28-29 March, the young driver overcame an engine problem in qualifying to start the final race from 25th and take the chequered flag in 15th.

Yiğit, who began karting at the age of 12 in the junior max class and has since raced in many events, will continue the season with the second round of the BNL European Cup, to be held at the Genk circuit in Belgium on 17-18 April 2015.
