Turkey's Pride Takes to the Track
19-year-old young national driver Ayhancan Güven will compete in the fourth round of the Porsche Carrera Cup France at Magny-Cours on 9-10 September 2017, in a car featuring a Turkish flag design.
Güven, who is backed by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation TOSFED through Spor Toto contributions as part of its "young talent programme", is aiming for the podium in a field of 20 rivals in identical Porsche 911 GT3s.
Racing for Attempto Racing, Güven will follow the Magny-Cours round with events at Zolder in Belgium on 16-17 September and at the Barcelona circuit in Spain on 30 September-1 October, before closing the 2017 season with the final round at Paul Ricard in France on 14-15 October.
