Mehmet Kaya Heads for the Championship

Motorsport driver Mehmet Kaya, who represents Turkey successfully abroad, is moving step by step towards the title in this season's Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) SP8T class. Having gained experience competing in Turkish national championships before continuing his career in Europe, Kaya has been racing in endurance events at Germany's Nürburgring for three seasons. Aiming to repeat last year's title in the Mercedes AMG GT4 for Black Falcon with the backing of EAE Group, Kaya took his first significant success in 2017, winning the Nürburgring 24 Hours with Porsche.

"Racing on European circuits, working together with our team engineers, has allowed me to increase my knowledge and experience. The endurance races, where more than 100 cars in 13 different classes compete at the same time, have also made me faster and given me very important experience," said Kaya, who wants to complete the 2020 season as class champion and compete in America and Dubai in 2021.
