The Lassa V1 2015 season finale will take place on Sunday 8 November at the İzmit Körfez circuit. Can Tolon holds the advantage in the fight for victory, but the battle with Yağız Avcı and Burak Çukurova is expected to be a tough one.

Five seasons have now passed since VOLKICAR began its V1 Challenge adventure in 2011. The 2015 season, organised over six races, has been an exciting one in sporting terms. Experienced rivals pushing Can Tolon, along with the rising stars among the younger drivers, have added to the excitement of the fight. Turkey's racing car, VOLKICAR, which once again reached millions through live NTVSPOR broadcasts, has become the most popular motorsport series.

The İzmit Körfez circuit, which hosts some of the season's most enjoyable races, will echo to the sound of the VOLKICARs on Sunday 8 November. In a race where 22 cars will start together, Can Tolon needs just 2 points to claim the title. However, should he score zero, Burak Çukurova and Yağız Avcı could be the ones reaching for the Gold Cup. One of the rivalries to end early this year came in the Master Cup. Özgür Gür has clinched the title, but Önder Erdem, Burak Sohtorik and Burak Ertem will fight it out for second place. Young talents Ayhancan Güven and Toprak Candan, whose stars have shone even brighter in VOLKICAR, have won the Youth Class and are battling to finish the season as champions.

The sixth round of Lassa V1 at Körfez will start at 14:00 and be broadcast live on NTV SPOR. For those unable to be at the circuit or in front of the TV, the race can be watched online at www.ntvspor.com/canliyayin. In Lassa V1, the winning driver will receive 10,000 TL, second place 4,000 TL and third place 2,000 TL.
