Testing Gets Under Way at Körfez
Ahead of Round 2 of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship, which will be run at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit on 30 June-1 July, the track is hosting testing today.
Because of a heavy schedule in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland series that Bilal Saygılı is contesting this season, the driver has decided not to continue in the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship. The BMW Z4 GT3 seat that has been vacated will be taken from this race onwards by Galip Atar. Backed by Atarlar Petrol Shell, Atar completed a first test programme with the new car at Körfez today.
Racing for Erpiliç, ERS-MAK Racing Team driver Hakan Mete Kutay, who leads the Maxi class after winning the first two races of the season, also took to the track today to go over final preparations and set-up for the weekend.
Drifting displays from Apex Masters drivers, historic rally shows, magnificent super sport cars and stands in the paddock area, along with music and entertainment all day long, will be free for motorsport fans to enjoy from 11:00 on Sunday 1 July…
