Four Races Run Together at the Körfez Circuit

The second races of the 2015 season in the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship and the TOSFED Circuit Racing Cup were held on 4-5 July, with 15 drivers taking part.

At the races organised by the Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club at the İzmit Körfez Race Circuit, the Maxi group was not run because of a lack of entries, while the drivers fought hard in the Super group. In the Super group, which had five drivers, İzmir's Ahmet Mutlubaş won both 20-lap races in a Honda Civic Type-R EP3, while 16-year-old Kuzey Eroldu, who has moved from karting to circuit racing, took second in only the second circuit outing of his career, driving a Fiat Punto S1600 for Pegasus Racing. İsmet Toktaş, who travelled from Bursa to enter a Honda Civic Type-R EP3 for Ülkü Motorsport, finished the day in third. Ülkü Motorsport's other drivers, Ümit Ülkü and Galip Atar, both in Renault Maxi Meganes, retired from the races with mechanical problems.

In TOSFED Circuit Racing Cup Category 1, Uygar Birgili took the win in a Peugeot 106 GTI, while in Category 2, where young drivers competed in VW Polo TDIs, Yağız Gedik won, Ubeyde Saygılı took second and Muhammed Ali Ülkü finished third. In Category 3, Ahmet Mutlubaş won in a Honda Civic Type-R FN2, with İsmet Toktaş second in a Honda Civic Type-R EP3 and Tansel Tunca third in a Renault Clio Sport.
