Kubilay Tüfekçi Is New ISOFF President

The 20th-term board of the Istanbul Off-road Club, known by its short name İSOFF, has divided its duties following the club's Ordinary General Assembly. On the board headed by Kubilay Tüfekçi, Sebahattin Toper will serve as Vice President, Barbaros Arıoğul as General Secretary and Bursak Gize as Treasurer. The other names who stood on the single block list in the election – Mutesem Mujahed, Ali Aykut Boz and Halil İbrahim Türkyılmaz – will also serve on the new board as members.

The board's substitute members are Hakan Betir, Ayşin Uysal, Bayram Eyri, Utku Mestçi, Soner Birol, Mustafa Karahasanoğlu and Müfit Çırpanlı. Ercüment Yalçın, Can Tahincioğlu and Serhat Tolan were elected as full members of the audit committee, with Necmi İnan, Haldun Ülgen and Berkehan Öztürk as substitutes, while the Disciplinary Board will consist of Volkan Mestçi, Güneş Top and Tahire Birinci as full members and Yusuf Cinal, Levent Uysal and Ali Doğaner as substitutes. Following the election, President Tüfekçi said: "As the elected Board of the Istanbul Off-road Club for 2020-22, we would first like to express our gratitude to all the Presidents and Board Members, and to all the stalwarts, who have given their labour since our founding and carried our club to this day. But above all, we sincerely thank all the İSOFF members who judged us worthy of this role and who, rain or mud, snow or shine, have always contributed to our club's activities. Without forgetting that we are a hobby club, we will combine our passion for nature with our sporting culture and strive to take the organisational skills we have acquired over the years even higher.

Together with the sporting federation we are affiliated to, and with all associations and organisations that act out of love of nature and a sporting spirit, we will work to protect our members' rights and, within a framework of mutual respect and friendship, to establish nature awareness and develop sporting culture.

Whether you are a camping enthusiast looking for tranquillity in nature, or someone striving to combine your passion for challenging nature with your identity as a sportsperson, you will always find friends at İSOFF to share your feelings with. As a growing family, it will give us strength to see you by our side from now on, as we always have."
