Kuzey Eroldu Takes Victory at Imola

Representing Turkey in this year's Trofeo Abarth 500 Challenge, 18-year-old Kuzey Eroldu took the top step of the podium in round six of the series to score the best result of the driver's career.Eroldu started the first race of the weekend, held on 9-10 September at Italy's famous Imola circuit, from tenth on the grid and finished sixth. In the second race on Sunday, a contest between 12 identical Fiat 500 Abarths, the young driver took the chequered flag in first place to claim victory.We congratulate Eroldu, who made the country proud by hearing the Turkish national anthem played on the podium, and wish the driver every success in the 2017 Trofeo Abarth 500 season finale at Monza on 21-22 October.
