FIA ETCC Season Ends in Sicily

Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport drivers Aytaç Biter and İbrahim Okyay, together with Ülkü Motorsport drivers Ümit Ülkü and Galip Atar, travelled to Sicily's Pergusa circuit for the final round of the European Touring Car Cup (ETCC). Our drivers took the start on 10-11 October and returned to Turkey with strong results.

Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport's Aytaç Biter took third place on the podium in the TC2T class in the BMW 320TC, while team-mate İbrahim Okyay, competing in the TC2 class, also claimed a third-place cup in the category.

Ülkü Motorsport's Ümit Ülkü finished both races held over the weekend in fourth place in the TCT2 class, while team-mate Galip Atar returned from Sicily with two fifth places.

Among our drivers competing in the 2015 European Touring Car Cup, Aytaç Biter finished the season second with 100 points, while Ümit Ülkü, in a first experience abroad, completed the cup in third with 90 points and Galip Atar finished fourth with 78 points.

İbrahim Okyay, who represented Turkey in the TC2 category, ended the season third with 86 points, while Turkey, represented by four drivers in the Nations Cup, finished fourth among 11 countries with 196 points.
