Eröge Takes Double Italian Title

Demir Eröge, Ramazan Kaya, Temel Çamlıdağ and Koray Kamiloğlu represented Turkey in Round 6 of the 2024 Coppa Italia Turismo (Italian Touring Cup), held at Misano on 2-3 November. The season finale, run as two races, produced fierce battles as the points fight went down to the wire.

Demir Eröge, who arrived at Misano as championship leader, took to the podium with second place in the first race and third in the second. Eröge finished the season top of the overall classification, 22.5 points clear of closest rival Philipp Mattersdorfer, and also won the TCR-SQ class to claim the double title.

Our other representative in the series, Ramazan Kaya, backed by Jacques Philippe, Fossil, Guess, Versace and Tommy Hilfiger, retired from the first race. Starting the second race from fifth, Kaya made a series of strong moves to finish second in the SQ class. Racing an Audi RS3 LMS prepared by BF Motorsport, Kaya ended the 2024 season third in both the overall and SQ standings.

Temel Çamlıdağ also scored valuable points in the DSG category, finishing fifth in the first race and third in the second, and closed the season in third place. Young driver Koray Kamiloğlu, enjoying his first European experience with Egemot H2K Motorsport, finished second in the E130 class in both races to take to the podium.
