Good News from Dubai

Azerbaijani driver Gulhuseyn Abdullayev, who has competed in the Turkish Karting Championship on a Turkish licence for the last three seasons, was in Dubai on 28-29 January for a first taste of formula racing.

At the Dubai Autodrome, Abdullayev finished third in the opening race of the FG1000 Formula Gulf series and won the second. By standing on the podium in a first formula outing, the young driver has given real cause for optimism about the future.

The FG1000 Formula Gulf series continues with Rounds 9 and 10 on 18-19 February, again at the Dubai Autodrome.
