Children Take the Wheel

The TOSFED Mobile Education Simulator project, which visits primary schools to introduce children aged 7-11 to both motorsport and basic road safety, stopped at Bodrum Güler Mustafa Kızılağaç Primary School.
The event, held with the support of Karya Otomobil Spor Kulübü (KAROSK), was also attended by Bodrum District Director of National Education Bülent Aldal, Bodrum Traffic Bureau Deputy Superintendent Burcu Payrı, officers from the traffic bureau, KAROSK President Atıl Atılgan and school headteacher Mustafa Topal.
The project is one of 10 selected for the support programme from among 850 submitted by the 146 member countries of the International Automobile Federation (FIA). At the event, participants experienced karting at the TOSFED Körfez Circuit using simulators designed by Apex Racing.
As part of the project, more than 12,000 children have been reached in 58 cities across the Black Sea, Central Anatolia, Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, Mediterranean and Aegean regions.
