Catheram Cars Back at Körfez Circuit Once Again

The second round of the BOM Akademi Cup, whose opening round was organised by the Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club (KOSDER) on 13-14 May, will once again take place at the İzmit Körfez Circuit on 3 June.
Featuring 12 Catheram race cars, the cup brings together aspiring drivers who want to take their first, well-guided step into the sport after BOM Akademi's motorsport training courses with experienced racers who want to return to the circuits, and provides the stage for a gentlemanly fight between 19 drivers. After the opening round at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit, Muratcan Eğilmez leads the standings with 26 points, Yaman Yılmaz and Ahmet Armağan are second with 23 points, and Levent Ögel is third with 20 points.
The remaining races of the BOM Akademi Cup, which comprises 4 rounds and 8 races, will take place at the Izmir Ülkü Park Circuit on 10 September and 28-29 October.
