BOM Drivers Head to Monza

Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport's experienced drivers, who have won 16 championship titles in 11 years, will contest the opening round of the 2019 GT4 European Series season at Monza on 12-14 April.
National drivers Levent Kocabıyık, Fatih Ayhan and İbrahim Okyay are preparing to represent Turkey abroad in the new season in the GT4 European Series, known as one of Europe's toughest championships, where they will face 37 cars from 23 teams representing 11 different manufacturers, and 74 drivers from 19 different nationalities.
Organised by SRO Motorsports Group since 2006 with FIA (International Automobile Federation) approval, the GT4 European Series features Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport as the first and only team representing Turkey, and the squad is targeting a podium in the opening-round races at Italy's legendary Monza circuit.
Ahead of the event, the BOM drivers had the chance to carry out final tests of the BMW M4 GT4 at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit, and Levent Kocabıyık and İbrahim Okyay said they were extremely pleased with the car's performance. Having made final adjustments to some of the car's settings in light of the data analysed during the test laps, the technical team signalled that they are "ready for the new season".
