BOM Drivers Top the Podium in Italy

Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport, which has represented Turkey on the international motorsport stage for seven consecutive years, broke new ground by winning its class in the season opener of the Italy 3H Endurance Champions Cup. The team flew the Turkish flag on the podium at Italy's Imola circuit and had the Turkish national anthem played in Europe.
The race lasted 150 minutes
At Imola, the circuit where legendary driver Ayrton Senna lost his life in a crash, the BMW M3 was shared by Aytaç Biter, Levent Kocabıyık and Fatih Ayhan over the 150-minute race. Each driver spent around 50 minutes behind the wheel, and together they completed 68 laps of the 4.909-metre, 22-corner circuit, facing a challenge that was both mental and physical. The Italy Endurance Champions Cup, which featured a two-and-a-half-hour battle between powerful cars across three different classes, saw Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport deliver an error-free race to come out on top. The team's next event will be at the Hungaroring in Hungary on 2-3 May, where the opening round of the ETCC will be held.
