Ankara Off-Road Club (ANDOFF) continues to chalk up a series of firsts. The second round of the 2015 ANDOFF Ankara Off-Road Cup will be held in Bozkurt on 18-19 April. The event in Bozkurt, a district of Denizli, the heart of Turkey's textile country, will be hosted by the Denizli Nature and Off-Road Sports Club (DENDOFF). It is being organised with the support of Bozkurt Municipality and the District Governorship.

Bozkurt Mayor Birsen Çelik said it was exciting that such an event was being held in the district for the first time. "I attach great importance to the first race to be held in Bozkurt. With this event, Bozkurt's name will be heard across Turkey, so we will mobilise all our resources to give the race every kind of support. I especially invite women to this event planned for 18-19 April," the mayor said.

Denizli Nature and Off-Road Sports Club President Hüseyin Uyar said the club was very excited to be organising such an event, adding: "With this event, which we have prepared in the light of the great experience of the Ankara Off-Road Club, we want to make a difference in Denizli and popularise this sport. All off-road clubs and competitors in Turkey are our guests. We also invite our fellow citizens to the race, so they can enjoy a different weekend now that spring has arrived."

ANDOFF, which already ventured beyond Ankara last season by organising a successful race in Alanya, has now begun preparations to support the event in Bozkurt, Denizli. Ankara Off-Road Club President Muharrem Çelik said: "We will be at a specially prepared race course in Bozkurt to spread and promote our sport to wider audiences and, most importantly, to hold an exemplary race that can help, to some extent, to prevent the sad incidents that occur in traffic accidents. As always, we look forward to welcoming all clubs and competitors to Bozkurt, Denizli in a spirit of unity, togetherness and sportsmanship."
