BOM Crowned Gold Cup Champion

In the 2016 Italian 3H Endurance Champions Cup, contested by 47 competitors from seven countries across three categories – Gold, Silver and Bronze – the Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport drivers scored the most points in both the overall classification and the Gold category with two wins and three second places, finishing the season as Gold Cup Champions.
Competing with Aytaç Biter, Levent Kocabıyık and Fatih Ayhan in the 3H Endurance Champions Cup, a demanding series of three-hour races held at Imola, Misano, Mugello and Vallelunga in Italy and Rijeka in Croatia, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport took the Gold Cup title with the BMW Z4 GT3. Italy's Autorlando Sport finished second with a Porsche 997 GT3R, while Germany's MDC Sports took third with a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3.
Founded by Borusan Otomotiv in 2008, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport has represented its country in both national and international competition ever since. With this title, the team adds another major success to its record, which includes fifth place in the WTCC teams' standings and second place in the ETCC drivers' standings.
