Bitci Racing Hits the Track

Bitci Racing, the racing team of Bitci Teknoloji – known for its significant support of motorsport and the main sponsor of the 2021 TOSFED Baja Cup – takes to the track this weekend in the AVIS 2021 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship. Founded by Çağdaş Holding in 2018, Bitci Teknoloji has made an important breakthrough in the blockchain world by creating global partnerships in fan token collaborations with national football teams such as Brazil, Spain and Peru, as well as with the McLaren F1 team and MotoGP. The company is now raising the bar and laying new foundations to become a motorsport brand.
The new team of Çağdaş Çağlar – a successful off-road and baja competitor who has taken the motorsport programme up a level by founding Bitci Racing – will start this season in the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship's Maxi Group with two Audi RS3 TCRs. Ten-time Turkish champion and national driver İbrahim Okyay and young driver Turgut Konukoğlu will be behind the wheel of the orange cars, and the team's target is the Turkish Circuit Racing and Teams titles. Bitci Racing's other young drivers, Barkın Pınar and Murat Nalçakan, will continue their preparations for the 2022 season by testing with the team throughout the year and starting in some races. In the 2021 Turkish Karting Championship, Bitci Racing will be on track with 16-year-old young talent Zekai Özen, who has joined the team's ranks. In the off-road and baja cups, the team will be represented by the crews of Çağdaş Çağlar–Ertuğrul Danişment and Zafer Durmaz–Altan Tan.
Team owner Çağdaş Çağlar said: "Until now, we have supported motorsport in Turkey through various sponsorships, and we will continue to do so. Now we are taking an important step by founding our own team, Bitci Racing. Our aim is both to represent our country successfully on the international stage as a Turkish team, and to create opportunities for young Turkish drivers to realise their dreams. With this goal, we are launching the Bitci Racing 'Driver Development Programme'. The drivers included in the programme will compete in Europe's major karting races over the next two seasons, and at the same time will complete their preparations to represent our country in top-level car racing through Single Seater and GT car tests. Meanwhile, Bitci Racing will have completed the infrastructure investments and preparations required to start in international races from the 2022 season onwards."
