Ayhancan Güven Becomes Gold-Rated Driver

Our national sportsman Ayhancan Güven has become the first Turkish driver to be promoted to Gold Driver status in the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) 2022 Driver Categorisation List.

Güven won the 2017 TOSFED Champion of Champions title and, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and TOSFED, began competing abroad. He has since shown consistent and successful form in the Porsche Cup European series he has contested since 2018. Racing with different teams in different series between 2018 and 2021, the young driver finished every championship he entered on the podium, taking four titles, three runner-up finishes and two third places from nine championships. Selected for the Porsche factory's young driver programme in 2019, the 24-year-old has been added to the manufacturer's official driver line-up for the 2022 season.
