Atar Heads to Körfez Aiming for Victory

A total of 13 drivers will compete in the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship round four at the TOSFED Körfez Circuit this weekend, with seven in the Maxi class and six in the Super class.
Galip Atar, who successfully represented Turkey as European Champion in Ferrari Challenge last year, is preparing to take to the track this season with the aim of winning in the Maxi class, where he is competing in a BMW Z4 GT3. Having missed the opening round of the season, the national driver is two races down in the standings, and is aiming to take the top step of the podium in the remaining races of the championship to claim the Turkish title.
Round four of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship is an important turning point in the battle for the lead in the fiercely contested Maxi class. It begins on Saturday 29 September with practice and qualifying. The first race starts at 12:45 on Sunday 30 September, and the weekend's programme concludes with the second race at 16:15.
The weekend will also feature the final heats of TOSFED Searches for a Star and the first race of the new era, round three of the Aegean Youth Cup, drifting demonstrations by Apex Masters drivers, and super sports and classic cars in the paddock area for fans to enjoy.
