The trio of Emir Aşarı, Oliver Frisse and Sindre Setsaas, competing in the V4 class with a BMW 325i, found the morale they needed in the fourth race, finishing second after retiring from the third race while leading. Starting sixth out of 20 cars, the crew had Frisse take the wheel first. Frisse delivered a strong performance, climbing to the class lead after two laps, before dropping back to second.

In the second part of the race, which was punctuated by numerous accidents, Sindre Setsaas took over and also managed to move into the lead, but handed the car over to Aşarı in second place for the final stint. Aşarı battled for the lead with Sorg Rennsport's sister car and managed to take the lead, but dropped back to second with three laps to go and finished the race on the podium.
Aşarı Takes Podium in Fourth Round of VLNAfter the race, Aşarı said: "We didn't win, but we're on the podium, and it was a fight in which we finally didn't suffer a mechanical problem. Oliver put in a strong performance at the start of the race with times of 9m49s. In the car I took over in second place, I also managed to get down to 9m50s times, and we fought for the win."

The VLN series season will continue with the fifth round on 18 August.
