Final Showdown for Rising Star Hopefuls

The final camp of the 'TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor' (TOSFED is Looking for a Star) project, organised by the Turkish Motorsport Federation under the sponsorship of FIAT Türkiye with the support of PETLAS to discover talented drivers aged 18-25, will take place at Izmir Ülkü Race Track on 24-25-26 November.
On Friday 24 November, the candidates will receive theoretical and practical advanced driving technique and sporting driving technique training from Burak Çukurova, Murat Bostancı, Orhan Avcıoğlu, Yiğit Timur and Burcu Çetinkaya Bucak. The 40 male and 5 female candidates will then be whittled down by racing against the clock on Saturday 25 November, and 10 male and 2 female drivers will earn the right to compete in the 'TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor' project.
On Sunday 26 November, when the 2017 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship and Opel Corsa Cup finale races will also be held, the 12 selected drivers will contest their first races at Ülkü Race Track.
In the selection rounds of 'TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor', the first talent-discovery project in the history of Turkish motorsport, 320 candidates, 18 of them women, competed at Izmit Körfez Race Track between 10 and 13 August. The 10 fastest drivers of each day, together with the 5 fastest women, a total of 45 people, earned a place in the finals.
