First Autocross at Yenipazar

The Aydın Motorsports Club (AYOSK) will stage the first autocross event of the season in the Aegean region on 28-29 September at Yenipazar in Aydın. Held on the Yenipazar track, designed and built by Fernas Otoyol A.Ş as a result of the efforts of AYOSK President Bekir Kuvvet Erim, the event will feature 23 competitors across five separate classes.

The event will begin on Saturday 28 September with administrative and technical checks, followed by an introduction ceremony at 19:30. On Sunday 28 September, practice will run between 11:00 and 12:00, after which the racing - ten laps in total, split into two separate parts - will take place between 12:30 and 16:30, concluding with the prize-giving ceremony at 17:00.

AYOSK President Bekir Kuvvet Erim said the club has been working together with the Aydın Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and Yenipazar Municipality to deliver an exciting weekend, and invited all motorsport fans to attend. Strong interest is expected from car enthusiasts at the event, where President Bekir Kuvvet Erim and former President Mithat Diker will also take the start.

The 850-metre autocross track, with a mixed gravel and tarmac surface, is located within the Yenipazar Motorsports Centre, on the right-hand side of the road roughly 2 kilometres beyond the District Gendarmerie Command on the Yenipazar - Çine mountain road.
