İOSK Gala Night Sees Trophies Presented to Season's Winners

The Izmir Automobile Sports Club (İOSK), which has the distinction of being the first motorsport club in the Aegean Region, rounded off the 2025 Izmir Autocross Cup finale with a special evening. Trophies were presented in a ceremony to 15 competitors who finished in the top three across five different categories. Bringing together competitors, club officials and many guests with a passion for motorsport, the evening served as the season's closing event.

Hosting the evening, İOSK President Mithat Diker thanked the competitors, the officials and the individuals and organisations that supported the events for their contribution to the development of motorsport, and highlighted the importance of the effort and competition shown throughout the season.

The races counting towards the cup in the 2025 season were held at the Seyrek Autocross Track in Menemen, Izmir, and in the Yenipazar district of Aydın. Competing on different tracks, in demanding surfaces and changeable weather conditions, the competitors scored points throughout the season.

Based on the points accumulated over the season, Erkan Kotan finished top of Category 1, Hilal Olgun of Category 2, Kubilay Ersin Türkmen of Category 3 and Hakan Akman of Category 4. In the women's category, Hilal Olgun was the competitor with the highest points tally. The programme was not limited to presenting trophies to the competitors; thank-you plaques were also given to the individuals and organisations that contributed to staging the races. The stakeholders and officials who worked on the organisation were honoured with applause throughout the evening.

Having left the excitement and competition of the 2025 season behind, Izmir's motorsport community used the awards evening as an opportunity to come together ahead of the new season. The event concluded as a meaningful gathering that celebrated the competitors' achievements and once again underlined the interest in motorsport.
