Vedat Ali Dalokay Retains Championship Lead

Bitci Racing Team AMS driver Vedat Ali Dalokay, who is contesting the Italian Touring Car Championship (TCR Italy) this season with the support of Otokoç, completed the weekend's third-round races at Mugello with a double podium.After winning the first race in the DSG class on Saturday 7 July, which saw our representative hear the Turkish national anthem on the podium, Dalokay led the second race on Sunday 8 July all the way to the final lap, but finished second after contact from a rival. Having won four of the six races held so far in the series and finished second twice, Dalokay heads into the fourth round, to be held at Monza on 15-17 September, as the championship leader.
