V1 Season Set to Close in Izmir

The final race of the 2016 V1 Challenge season will be held on Sunday 27 November at the Izmir Ülkü Park Race Track, organised by İzmir Ülkü Motorsporları Kulübü.

Comprising 12 races spread over six weekends, the V1 Challenge is preparing to wrap up its season in Izmir after the Körfez and Aydın rounds. Awarding points and prize money for each individual race, the cup saw ISS driver Burak Çukurova declare the title one week before the end of the season, following the fifth round at the Körfez Race Track.

With Çukurova having already won the "Gold Cup", the front-running drivers will fight in the final race for a place in the overall classification as well as for the Silver and Bronze Cups.
