TransAnatolia 2025 to Start in Bursa

As TransAnatolia enters its 15th year, the event continues to offer motorsport fans a unique experience built on past expertise and success on the international stage. Organised by the Antalya Offroad Sports Club with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the General Directorate of Forestry, the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation and Anadolu Spor Organizasyonları, TransAnatolia will take place this year between 30 August and 7 September.

In its 15th year, the event will start in Bursa on 30 August and finish in Sapanca on 7 September. Open to motorcycles, 4x4 cars, SSVs, quads and trucks, the race brings different challenges and excitement in every category. In the TransAnatolia Rally category, competitors race against the clock on a set route, while in the Raid category the emphasis is on navigation skills. Entries opened on 1 February 2025.

Stretching from the Aegean coast to the high mountains of Eastern Anatolia, the TransAnatolia routes test competitors' endurance and determination while also showcasing Anatolia's natural beauty. The stages in the mountainous regions in particular offer a racing experience in tough terrain, surrounded by nature. Stages that pass through the historic fabric of towns and cities, interwoven with cultural heritage, give participants a different perspective on the event.

Sharing his thoughts on the 15th edition, TransAnatolia General Coordinator Burak Büyükpınar said: "We are delighted to have taken a sustainable, international sporting event to its 15th year despite all the difficult conditions. To date, more than 2,500 competitors have raced on TransAnatolia's impressive stages. We have welcomed competitors from more than 30 different countries. With our high standards and demanding routes, we allow both top-level competitors and amateur talents to develop themselves."

Büyükpınar stressed that TransAnatolia is more than just a race: it is an event that highlights intercultural interaction, friendship and mutual support, and continues through the unifying power of sport. He added: "Our organising team is working tirelessly, with routes renewed every year, meticulous preparation and measures that put competitor safety first, so that the 15th edition is just as successful. We are determined to inspire motorsport fans, push boundaries and introduce the unique beauty of Anatolia to the world."
