Hot Competition at TOSFED Istanbul Park

The second round of the AVIS 2025 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship took place at TOSFED Istanbul Park on 16-17 August, with the support of Spor Toto, AVIS, Tuzla Belediyesi and Salados. The TOSFED Track Faest held alongside the event also gave many car enthusiasts the chance to take to the track in their own cars.

The event began with practice and qualifying, before two separate races were run in both the Super and Maxi groups. In the Super Group, Texaco Team AMS driver Orçun İnce won both races to maintain his lead in the championship. In the first race, Murat Gürakan of Team ADD took second, while in the second race Demirhan Öke of Erven Maden H2K Racing Team crossed the line in second place under the chequered flag. Third place went to Kaan Marangoz in the first race and to Team ADD's Aydın Uluç in the second.

In the Maxi group, Texaco Team AMS driver Zekai Özen completed the weekend with a double victory. In the first race, Ümit Ülkü of Erven Maden H2K Racing Team took second, while in the second race his team-mate Kerim Sulyak claimed second place in his first circuit race. Texaco Team AMS driver Umut Göktaş took the final podium spot in both races. Texaco Team AMS won the teams' classification in the second round, while the female drivers' win went to Sevde Zehra Yıldırım, who competes for Evren Maden H2K Racing Team and was the female winner of the 2023 TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor project.

The AVIS 2025 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship will continue with the third round at TOSFED Istanbul Park on 30-31 August.
