Anti-Doping Seminar Held for Drivers

TOSFED Medical Commission Chairman Dr. Cem Boneval briefed all competitors taking part in the Bosphorus Rally on anti-doping in a seminar.

Outlining the heightened sensitivity and measures that have emerged around anti-doping in recent times, Boneval explained that even entirely innocent medicines we use frequently in daily life can appear on the doping list. Dr. Cem Boneval also strongly urged competitors to study the anti-doping documents published on the TOSFED website.

Competitors who have never applied before can do so by sending an email titled "I would like a username and password" to egitim@tdmk.org.tr, stating their name, surname, email address, city of residence and that they are a motorsport competitor. With the username and password they receive, they can then log in to the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission website at http://tdmk.triagonal.net/online2/login/tdmk/.

"Understanding the fight against doping" is an interactive e-learning programme, split into different modules for competitors and athlete support personnel, on the fight against doping. The primary aim is to inform competitors and raise their awareness of the fight against doping. It is easy to follow, straightforward to understand, engaging and comprehensive. Those who complete the course successfully are awarded an "Anti-Doping Certificate".
