This time there was praise rather than criticism in Turkish motorsport…

After the third round of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship, the Opel Corsa OPC Cup and the BOM Akademi Cup, both competitors and garage managers thanked the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation for a successful event.

The organisers of the one-make cups, which field a large number of drivers, thanked TOSFED after the third race of the season at the Izmit Körfez Circuit, setting a precedent in doing so...
Drivers and Teams Thank TOSFEDGalip ATAR / Ülkü Motorsport - Super Group Race 1 and Race 2 Third Place
I would like to thank everyone who contributed, starting with the TOSFED management, for the successful organisation of the third round of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship at Körfez Circuit. In recent years we have seen clearly how much a successful driver adds to motorsport as a successful administrator. The support given to our young drivers to represent our country abroad, the determination shown to bring international events back to our country and the rising quality of the national championships are all welcome developments for our sport. I hope the momentum motorsport has gained continues to grow, and I congratulate our federation on its dedicated work.
Drivers and Teams Thank TOSFEDİsmet TOKTAŞ / BC Vision Motorsport - Maxi Group Race 1 and Race 2 Runner-up
We completed the Körfez Circuit race, the third round of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship, with a fine organisation. According to the calendar TOSFED announced at the start of the season, the race should have been held at Istanbul Park, but unfortunately it could not be staged there. However, this problem was solved by moving the event to Körfez Circuit, which made all the drivers, myself included, happy. I hope we will get the chance to race at Istanbul Park again in the coming period. Over a successful weekend I took the runner-up trophy in both races and kept my second place in the Maxi Group of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship. I thank our federation for not leaving its drivers on their own.
Drivers and Teams Thank TOSFEDİbrahim OKYAY / Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport Director
We thank the TOSFED management for the effort and support that ensured the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship Round 3 races on 16-17 September, whose cancellation had been raised following objections, and the BOM Akademi Caterham Cup races we held on the same day, were not cancelled but run successfully, and that no driver was left aggrieved.

In the TPŞ Round 3 races, 17-year-old Ali Türkkan, who shone in the TOSFED Champion of Champions and has been racing in the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship this year with Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport, again with TOSFED's support, took a win and a second place to move into the lead of the Super Group championship. In qualifying he also set a time of 44.611, the fastest lap ever achieved in the Super Group at Körfez Circuit to date.

Likewise, the BOM Akademi Cup, run by BOM Akademi to bring new drivers into the sport, was completed with high excitement and tough competition and 16 drivers taking part. BOM Akademi is a TOSFED-approved training institution with A-licence instructors, founded with a sense of social responsibility, and has so far presented training certificates to nearly 2,000 participants. Drivers and Teams Thank TOSFEDSüheyl POLATOĞLU / GP Garage My Team Director
We thank the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) officials for the success of the organisation at the third round of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship at Körfez Circuit, and as the workers of the sport, our hope is that this success continues in the coming years... We also extend our thanks to the officials who dealt with drivers and team officials one by one and found immediate solutions to problems…

Drivers and Teams Thank TOSFEDHakan DİNÇ / Safari Motorsporları Chairman of the Board
As chairman of the board of Safari Motorsporları, the only company that has been organising private cup races in Turkey for 26 years, I congratulate the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation for its support of the sport and its drivers. As Safari Motorsporları, we have so far given racing training to around 15,000 people and, over that time, offered around 1,500 drivers the opportunity to compete in private cups. The federation officials, who give every kind of support to our country's only official and licensed racing school, acted in the same spirit at the race at Izmit Körfez Circuit and did not withhold their interest and attention from us. On this occasion, we extend our respects to TOSFED president Serkan Yazıcı and his team, who have supported the sport and its drivers to the very end without regard for self-interest.Drivers and Teams Thank TOSFEDYaman YILMAZ / BOM Akademi Race 1 Winner
The uncertainty before the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship Round 3 made me quite uneasy, both as a driver and as a member of the press. All the drivers following the circuit championship were about to be the grass trampled in the fight of the elephants, but TOSFED President Serkan Yazıcı and the federation officials came to our rescue and, with extremely dedicated work, ensured the races were held at Izmit Körfez Circuit. Through you, I thank the federation and its president, who have always stood by the drivers...Drivers and Teams Thank TOSFEDGüney ALTUNER / BOM Akademi Race 2 Winner
As a driver, I follow developments in the car championships held in our country closely, and we see the best example of this in the successes of our young compatriots racing abroad. We particularly appreciate the investment the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation has recently made in contributing to motorsport. We are grateful for the support given both to new drivers and to new circuits.Drivers and Teams Thank TOSFED
