TEXXOFF Win in Sinop

The off-road excitement continued in trial, the team-based discipline of off-roading, with the Sinop event… Round three of the 2016 Turkish Trial Championship was organised by the Sinop Off-road Club (SİNOFF) on 4-5 June, with support from the Sinop Governorship and Sinop Municipality.
The start ceremony, held at Sinop İskele Square on Saturday 4 June, was attended by Sinop Governor Yasemin Özata Çetinkaya, Sinop Provincial Police Chief Yusuf Biner and Provincial Director of Youth Services and Sport Kazım Açıkbaş. The competition, which ran for two days on a course built in the Bostancılı Airfield area, also attracted great interest from local motorsport fans.
The demanding event featured nine teams, 18 vehicles and 36 competitors. In the end, the TEXXOFF team, made up of Emirhan Kutlu-Ali Çapan and Uğur Demirci-Muhammet Zor, took victory with a time of 05:42.07. AVC AVT Team, comprising the crews of Adnan Ofluoğlu-Selçuk Akan and Soner Özkutlu-Samet Aygül, finished second with 06:43.17, while third place went to Magnum Motorsport, made up of Onur Kırayoğlu-İhsan Pekayla and Umut Bayrak-Halil İbrahim Yeşilselvi, with a total time of 08:17.28.
The fourth round of the 2016 Turkish Trial Championship will be organised by the Düzce Off-road Club (DOSOD) on 16-17 July.
