On Sunday 18 March, Dağhan Ünlüdoğan, Emre Hasbay, Can Tolon, Buğra Banaz, Berkay Besler, Ali Türkkan, Fatih Ayhan, Orhan Avcıoğlu, Burak Başlık, Ayhancan Güven, Ahmet Burkay, Yağız Avcı, Ümitcan Özdemir, Ümit Ülkü, Deniz Denner and Burak Çukurova, behind the wheel of Petlas-shod Opel Corsa OPCs, put on breathtaking battles in the elimination rounds, quarter-finals and semi-finals.
In the final of the event, organised by TOSFED for the first time in 15 years with the contributions of Spor Toto, Opel Türkiye, Petlas, Atarlar Petrol, Redbull.com and Power FM, Can Tolon and Ayhancan Güven went head to head. After three runs, Ayhancan GÜVEN beat his rival 2-1 to become the 2016 Champions' Champion....
Alongside the shows by the Apexmasters drifting drivers and Ukrainian Red Bull athlete Alexander Grinchuk, champion competitors such as İskender Atakan, Serdar Bostancı, Volkan Işık, Cem Hakko, Halim Ateş, Serkan Yazıcı, Ömer Tolon and Ahmet Tarhan also took to the track at the event, where Ayhancan also won prizes worth close to 200,000 TL in total.
Receiving his specially designed trophy from Minister of Culture and Tourism Nabi AVCI, Güven won a car from Opel for a year of everyday use, plus a trip to a Formula 1 or WRC event in 2017 as a Red Bull guest. Güven also earned the right to a test and then an entry in a race in his own class in Europe, sponsored by TOSFED....
