Champions' Championship Heads to Körfez

The 'Champions' Championship', which will decide the fastest driver of the year in motorsport, will take place at TOSFED Körfez Race Track on 14-15 April, with 49 competitors from different disciplines taking part.
The Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) is organising the event with the support of Opel Türkiye, Spor Toto and Petlas, and it will begin on Saturday 14 April with qualifying running from 10:00 to 15:00. The 16 fastest competitors from among those taking to the track in Opel Corsa OPC race cars will earn the right to compete in Sunday 15 April's knockout rounds. The finals, run as head-to-head pairings between 09:00 and 16:00, will decide the Champions' Champion.
The event, held for the first time last year after a 15-year break, is expected to draw big crowds again this year. Free to watch at TOSFED Körfez Race Track, the event will be enlivened by Apexmasters drifting displays, Birkan Polat motorcycle stunt shows, and Red Bull and Power FM simulators. Former championship-winning drivers will also take to the track in retro rally cars, adding further colour to the occasion.
In addition, the 12 finalists of TOSFED Is Looking for a Star will contest their second race at TOSFED Körfez Race Track on 14-15 April as part of the 'Champions' Championship', in a head-to-head knockout format.
