Circuit Racing Season Opens at Körfez

The season-opening races of the 2018 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship will be held at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track on 12-13 May, organised by the Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club (KOSDER)… On the weekend that marks the first contest of the season, teams and drivers will fight hard to get their first points on the board. The weekend will begin with testing from 09:00 on Saturday 12 May, followed by administrative and technical checks, with official practice from 15:00-16:00 and qualifying from 16:30-17:20.
On Sunday 13 May, two races each will be run in the Maxi and Super groups from 11:00. Enlivened by drifting shows from Apexmasters drivers between the races, the weekend will conclude with a prize-giving ceremony at 16:30 after the four races.
