Extreme Spectacle in Pendik

The third race of the 2022 Edip Yaşar Kurtoğlu Extreme Cup was held on 12-13 November by 4x4 OSM Istanbul Alternative Nature Sports and Off-road Club, with 15 vehicles and 30 competitors taking part.
Run on a specially prepared course in Pendik, the race was followed with interest and excitement by a large crowd of spectators over the two days.
In the TR1 class, for vehicles with an unmodified conventional chassis, Adem Tutar-Onur Yılmaz took the win, while Adnan Ofluoğlu-Zafer Taştekin finished second and Şencan Özkurt-Can Özkurt completed the podium in third.
In the TR2 class, for vehicles with a specially prepared chassis, Oğuz Kağan Öztürk-Şenol Coşkun claimed victory, with Cihan Çelikten-Adem Yılmaz second and Atilla Çakır-Gökhan Yalçın third.
Having prepared for the race with great teamwork, 4x4 OSM Istanbul Alternative Nature Sports and Off-road Club successfully completed its first event as organiser, staged with the support of Pendik Municipality and Emsey Hospital.
The fourth race of the season in extreme, the new discipline of off-road racing that has taken hold in Turkey this year, will be held in Istanbul on 10-11 December by the Istanbul Off-road Club (İSOFF).
