Extraordinary General Assembly on 5 December

The Ministry of Youth and Sports' General Directorate of Sports Central Disciplinary Board, in its decision no. 2015/5 (case no. 2015/5) dated 12.08.2015, imposed a 24-month suspension of rights on Metin Çeker. Çeker then appealed to the General Directorate of Sports Arbitration Board, and the 18-month suspension of rights became final with the Arbitration Board's decision no. 2015/218 (case no. 2015/142) dated 06.10.2015, which was notified to our Federation on 07.10.2015.

As a result, Metin Çeker's presidency has lapsed. At the Board meeting held on 11.10.2015 at the call of Deputy President Kemal Kurtagiç, Kemal Kurtagiç was appointed President and Hürkal Özer was appointed Deputy President.

At the same meeting, it was decided that, subject to the approval of the General Directorate of Sports, the Extraordinary General Assembly will be held in Ankara on Saturday, 5 December 2015.
