Off-road Heads to the Coast

Round three of the 2015 Turkish Off-road Championship will be held in Sinop on 30-31 May, organised by the Sinop Off Road Club (SİNOFF).

The event, which takes place on the Akliman and Bostancılı coastline, one of the most beautiful parts of Sinop, is supported by the Sinop Governorship, Sinop Municipality and the Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports. Around 35 off-road vehicles and some 70 competitors are expected to take part, and the course has been prepared with great care to be easy to follow and highly enjoyable for spectators.

SİNOFF President Özkan AYDEMİR explained his thoughts on the event: "We chose the Akliman forest stage, which will be run on Saturday, both because it is easily accessible and because it is an area of natural beauty. On Sunday, the obstacle course, with its superb natural viewing and high adrenaline, will raise the excitement for spectators and competitors alike. I invite everyone in Sinop who wants to escape the bustle of the city at the weekend, to have fun and to witness a great spectacle, to come to our event."

The event begins with the start at Akliman at 13:00 on Saturday 30 May, while the second day gets under way at 11:00 on Sunday 31 May from Bostancılı village. Round three of the Turkish Off-road Championship will conclude the same day with a prize-giving ceremony at the Diyojen Hotel at 18:30.
