Lassa V1 Winds Set to Blow at Körfez

As one of the most exciting seasons in the history of the Lassa V1 Challenge nears its end, the series heads to the İzmit Körfez race. In Round 5 on Sunday 18 October, Can Tolon and Yağız Avcı, who are level on points at the top of the standings, will go head-to-head for the lead.

Can Tolon and Yağız Avcı drew level on points at the top after the surprises of the previous round at Aydın Şehir, and will take to the Körfez circuit determined to be the fastest. Burak Çukurova is just one point behind them and is desperate to get his hands on the trophy again after three years.

With Burak Ertem missing the last round and Burak Sohtorik disqualified, Özgür Gür, who picked up points at Aydın, is now more comfortable at the top of the Master Cup for drivers over 40, and wants to climb higher in the overall classification. Young drivers Ayhancan Güven, Toprak Candan, Kadir Akça and Ali Türkkan want to win their own classes, but above all to get ahead of their more experienced rivals and head into next season as contenders.
