Two Championships Share the Körfez Weekend

AVIS 2021 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship and 2021 Turkish Karting Championship races will take place on 6-7 November at TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit. The fifth round of the circuit racing championship, organised by Kocaeli Otomobil Sporları Kulübü (KOSDER), will begin on Saturday 6 November with administrative and technical checks, followed by practice sessions between 10.30 and 13.00. After qualifying, held between 14.00 and 14.45, the opening races will follow, with Maxi Group at 17.00 and Super Group at 17.40. On Sunday 7 November, the second races will take place, Maxi Group at 14.50 and Super Group at 16.30, before the event concludes with the prize-giving ceremony at 17.30. The eighth round of the 2021 Turkish Karting Championship will also be organised on the same weekend by Kocaeli Karting Kulübü (KO-KART) at the TOSFED Körfez Karting Circuit.
A total of 34 competitors will take part across four classes, with 11 in Mini, 6 in Formula Junior, 14 in Formula Senior and 3 in Formula Master, and three races will be run in every class over the weekend. On Saturday 6 November, following practice and qualifying, the first races in all classes will be held between 15.00 and 17.00. On Sunday 7 November, the second races will start from 11.00 and the third races from 13.00, after which the event will close with the prize-giving ceremony at 17.30.
