Action-Packed Weekend at Körfez
The opening round of the 2023 AVIS Turkish Circuit Racing Championship, organised by Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track, produced fierce battles. 
On a weekend in which crashes caused by contact on both days decided the outcome, Azizhan Kaya won the first Super Group race, ahead of Ümit Ülkü in second and Metin Çalışkan in third, while Ömer Şamlı won Sunday's second race, with Metin Çalışkan second and Berkay Akça third.
At the first circuit round of the 2023 season, title-sponsored by ICRYPEX, Seda Kaçan won the first Maxi Group race, with Barkın Pınar second and Gökhan Kellecioğlu third, making Kaçan the first female driver to stand on the top step of the podium in the championship's history. 
In the second Maxi Group race, Ümit Ülkü took the win, Barkın Pınar finished second and Seda Kaçan third.
At the event, where Bitci Racing Team AMS took the teams' title, drifting displays also provided thrilling moments for the motorsport fans who filled the venue.
