The Classic Car Club's Traditional Historic Western Anatolia Rally brought a breeze of nostalgia to the roads of Alaçatı, Izmir, on 2-3 June 2018. Setting off from the Antmare Hotel on Saturday 2 June, 50 classic cars, the oldest a 1948 Plymouth, covered 450 km over two days and 11 stages amid stunning natural scenery, completing the rally with a taste of the Aegean's unique cuisine. The surprise name of the rally was the well-known presenter Metin Uca. Saying that there has always been an interest in cars, and classics in particular, Uca had a thoroughly enjoyable two days in the Traditional Historic Western Anatolia Rally, the first race of his career. Speaking at the ceremony, Classic Car Club President Durgut Berberoğlu said: "There were Izmir classic enthusiasts who told us, 'I'm not a member of your club, but we've brought our classic along', and our doors are open to all classic car lovers.
