Winter Cups Heat Up Körfez

Round three of the ERS Motors 3D Winter Cup and round two of the V2 Challenge were held by Ülkü Motorsporları Kulübü at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track on 10-11 March 2018. In the first V2 Challenge race, Yavuz İpçi was the first driver to take the chequered flag, with Metin Çalışkan second and Hakan Mete Kutay third. In the second race, Kemal Burak Özhan won, Hakan Mete Kutay took second and Metin Çalışkan third on the podium.
In the ERS Motors 3D Winter Cup, Hakan Mete Kutay won the first race of the Diesel class, which features VW Polo TDIs, ahead of Mustafa Kırsoy and Osman Işık, and the order was unchanged in the second race. In the 1600 class, contested by Fiat Sienas, the order was likewise the same in both races, with Ali Hakan Kerci finishing the day first, Mehmet Başer second and Alper Şeker third.The Super Group saw a fierce fight right up to the final lap. The lead changed hands even on the last lap of the first race, which finished in the order İrfan Özgür, Osman Demirel and Ersin Yücesan, while in the second race Osman Demirel took the chequered flag first, with Ersin Yücesan second and İrfan Özgür third.In the first Maxi Group race, Oğuzhan Usta won in a Honda Civic Type-R, Ozan Süzgün was second in a Renault Clio and Tuğrul Köselerden third in a Seat Leon Cupra R. In the second race Ozan Süzgün took victory, followed home by Oğuzhan Usta, with Tuğrul Köselerden again completing the podium in third.In the second round of the Safari Winter Challenge, contested by Opel Corsa OPCs, Hüseyin Çetmen took the win. Hakan Mete Kutay finished second, while Çağlayan Çelik claimed third.
