Tight Battles at Kaynaşlı Autocross

The Kaynaşlı Autocross Races, organised by the Eskişehir Automobile Sports Club (ESOK), took place on Saturday 3 November with 12 competitors. Staged with the support of Düzce Municipality, Kaynaşlı Municipality and the Düzce Offroad Club (DOSOD), the event was run as 3 separate races across 4 different classes.
In Class 1, Mehmet Akif Yalçın won two races and Furkan Çağatay Korkmaz won one, all in Fiat Palios, with the runner-up positions also being shared between the same two drivers. Ankara's Ramazan Ekiz, also driving a Fiat Palio, managed to complete all three races despite a mechanical problem with the car and took three third places.
In Class 3, EVO BT Rally Team driver Adil Küçüksarı, making his first start of the season, won all three races in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX. Young Ankara driver Gürol Baranlı took two second places and a third in a Subaru Impreza, while Bursa's Osman Uğur, also starting for the first time this season, took two third places and a second in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX.
In Class 4, Hakkı Ağaoğlu won all three races in a Peugeot 207 S2000 for GP Garage My Team, while Halim Ateş finished second in all three races in an EVO BT Rally Team MINI JCW WRC.
In Class 2, the colourful battles between Tansel Tunca (Opel Astra GSI), Çağlar Ünüvar (Opel Astra GSI), Okan Tanrıverdi (Renault Clio R3) and Halid Avdagiç (Control 2) could not be settled because of a protest. The results for this class will become official after the decision of the TOSFED Court of Appeal.
