Becce Takes Rally Antiphellos Win

The Transanatolia Cup season came to a close with the baja event Rally Antiphellos, held in Kaş, Antalya, on 1-4 November. The cup, made up of three events in total, began with Rally Halikarnassos in Bodrum in April and continued with the Transanatolia Rally Raid, Turkey's toughest rally raid at a total of 2850 km.
Rally Antiphellos, supported and hosted by Kaş Municipality and the Kaş District Governorate in a region whose history stretches back to the Lycian era, began on Thursday 1 November 2018 with a start ceremony in Kaş Square. The crews, competing in the car and motorcycle categories, covered a total of 421 km through the historic beauty of Kaş and its surroundings, via Kasaba, Gömbe, Sütleğen, Katrandağ and Kalkan, before finishing in central Kaş.
The Mert Becce-Hakan İsen crew, driving a Suzuki Vitara, took the win. Mehmet Tüfekçioğlu-Tuvana Sayar finished second overall in a similar car, while the Ahmet Tınkır-Ali Günpay crew took third in a Jeep Wrangler.
