Black Sea Off-road Association Comes Together at Gala Evening

Members of the Black Sea Off-road Association came together at a gala evening. The event, held in the Safranbolu district, was attended by Safranbolu District Governor Murat Bulancak, Mayor Necdet Aksoy, Special Provincial Administration Secretary General Mehmet Uzun, Black Sea Off-road Association President Ahmet Demir, and members of off-road clubs from Karabük, Rize, Ordu, Giresun, Bolu, Düzce, Vezirköprü and Fatsa.

During the evening, the winners of the 2016 Black Sea regional off-road cups received their trophies, while plaques were also presented to the institutions and organisations that supported the events. Speaking at the programme, Safranbolu Mayor Necdet Aksoy thanked the organisers for staging the event in Safranbolu, saying: "As Safranbolu, we are a tourism city and we aim to increase its diversity. Alongside cultural tourism, we aim to add conference tourism and sports tourism. In that sense, Kardoff is raising awareness and is hosting important rounds of the Turkish and Black Sea championships here."
